Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, with the desire to plant trees, afforest, and contribute to greening the environment, agencies, units, and localities actively plant trees in early spring and prepare conditions to well perform the task of afforestation during the year. On February 6 (the 9th day of the first lunar month), in Pa Cheo commune, the People's Committee of Bat Xat district coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union under Vietnam Youth Union of the province to launch the "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" tree planting festival in the Spring 2025 and launched an emulation campaign to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Although it was foggy and windy, many young people and people were present and planted 200 native peach trees along the central roads of Pa Cheo commune. Each newly planted tree carried much hope, and from now on the tree will spread its branches and green leaves, creating a beautiful landscape for the land of Pa Cheo, which still has many difficulties.
Ms. Giang Thi Mai, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union, shared that promoting the spirit of youth, the Provincial Youth Union under Vietnam Youth Union of the province has promoted dissemination and mobilized a large number of union members and young people to go to areas with special difficulties, affected by natural disasters to support people planting, caring for and protecting forests. This is the responsibility and honor of the youth to contribute to making life better and better./.
