Immediately after the launch ceremony, officials, employees, and workers of Ben En National Park organized tree planting on the botanical island within the park.
In 2025, Ben En National Park aims to plant 25 hectares of forest in the semi-submerged area of Song Muc Lake to minimize soil erosion and sedimentation in the lake. At the same time, this initiative aims to enhance the natural landscape to support the development of eco-tourism and environmental protection.
Le Cong Cuong, Director of Ben En National Park, stated: “Recently, Ben En National Park has been making great efforts to both protect the existing forest area and promote reforestation to maintain the green cover of the forest. Additionally, the unit has strengthened its communication and education efforts on the significance of tree planting and forest protection. This contributes to raising awareness among officials, employees, workers, and local residents living near the forest about the importance of forests and afforestation, linking it to environmental protection, disaster risk reduction, and climate change adaptation.”
