On February 10, the Political Officer School held a launch ceremony for the tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho in the Spring of 2025. Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hung Oanh, Principal of the School attended and chaired the launch ceremony.

The launch ceremony of the festival is a meaningful activity contributing to building a “bright, green, clean, and beautiful” environmental landscape, improving the quality of material and spiritual life for soldiers.
In his speech at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hung Oanh, Principal of the School emphasized that over the past six decades, the tree planting festival to express gratitude to Uncle Ho has become a tradition, a custom, a cultural beauty, a widespread mass movement that has brought great benefits to the country. For our Army, trees have been closely associated with the unit’s combat training activities.
Every year, the school organizes the tree planting festival in the barracks; while closely coordinating with local Party committees, authorities, agencies, and units where the troops are stationed to prevent and fight fire and care and protect forest, he added.
After the launch ceremony, delegates planted nearly 1,000 new trees of various types and cared for the trees on the school’s campus./.
