The Muong Bu communal Party Committee has 32 affiliated Party cells, with 614 Party members. Determining the studying and following of Uncle Ho from practical actions, every year, the Party Committee develops a detailed plan, selects breakthroughs to focus on leadership and direction.

Mr. Pham Quang Son, Secretary of the communal Party Committee said that in 2024, the communal Party Committee registered the breakthrough content to promote application of scientific and technical advances, high-tech agricultural production and build advanced new-style rural areas. Accordingly, communes, villages, and sub-regions have popularized and mobilized people to convert the structure of crops and livestock with low productivity and economic efficiency to growing big apples, late-ripening longans, Taiwanese mangoes, bananas, guavas, lychees and citrus fruit trees.

Preparing orders for partners in Hanoi in the early days of spring, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Huong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Director of Hung Thinh Cooperative, To Mo village, shared that in 2022, the cooperative established a Party Cell with five Party members. Studying and following Uncle Ho, the Party Cell has promoted the application of scientific and technical advances in chain production. Currently, the cooperative has 20 members, 84 hectares of fruit trees, of which 20 hectares of apples are planted and cared for according to VietGAP process, using an automatic irrigation system, giving an average yield of 15 tons of fruit a ha, earning 450-750 million VND a ha.

Muong Bu is maintaining many models with high economic efficiency. Typical examples include: The fruit tree planting model of Mr. Ca Van Xam’s household, Na Xi village, with a scale of 5 hectares, combined with commercial pig farming, with an income of over 400 million VND a year; the fruit tree planting and fish farming model of Mr. Leo Van Noi’s household, Hua Bo village, with an average income of over 450 million VND a year; fruit tree planting and commercial pig farming of Mr. Leo Van Suoi’s household, Nang Phai village, with an average income of 500 million VND a year.

Regarding the breakthrough content of building a commune meeting advanced new-style rural area standards, building model new-style rural village and sub-area. In 2024, Muong Bu commune has poured concrete on two roads within Muong Bu village with 486 m in length; repaired and upgraded the village cultural house yard of 94 m², with a total value of over 288 million VND.

To date, Muong Bu commune has achieved 8 out of 19 criteria and 51 out of 75 norms for advanced new-style rural commune; Muong Bu village has achieved 12 out of 16 criteria and 38 out of 44 norms for model new-style rural village. The poverty rate of the commune in 2024 decreased to 2.29%.

Continuing to promote studying and following Uncle Ho, the Muong Bu Party Committee focused on popularizing, creating high consensus among the people in deploying and carrying out campaigns and emulation movements to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, contributing to promoting the local socio-economy, soon bringing Muong Bu to an advanced new-style rural commune./.
