Bac Giang Youth launches tree planting festival in gratitude to Uncle Ho

The program was attended by Than Trung Kien, Secretary of the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; representatives of the district leaders and more than 500 cadres and youth union members of Yen The district.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Mr. Than Trung Kien emphasized that the 14th National Party Congress is a special milestone on the path of national development, opening up the “era of national rise”. This is an opportunity for the young generation of Bac Giang to promote their role and responsibility and volunteer to contribute new and effective ideas, initiatives and solutions to build Bac Giang into an industrial province in the modern direction.

Aiming to kick off a series of emulation activities to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 20th Bac Giang provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and the 14th National Party Congress, the provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s Standing Board launched the Tree Planting Festival, themed “Forever grateful to Uncle Ho” in the spring of 2025.

At the program, from the mobilized resources, the Organizing Committee presented meaningful projects to youth union members of Yen The district, including: a 1.6 km long youth road; a youth forest project with 15,000 trees and funds to build houses for ethnic minority youth families in difficult circumstances./.
