A ceremony was launched by Dinh Hoa district of Thai Nguyen province to launch tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho on the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival of the Snake on February 5.

The event aimed to implement President Ho Chi Minh's teachings on tree planting festival and the emulation movement "Program on planting 1 billion green trees in the 2021-2025 period" launched by the Prime Minister.
Right after the launching ceremony, delegates, civil servants, employees and people in the district planted more than 100 palm trees in the ATK Dinh Hoa Square.
After that, communes and towns in the district also launched tree planting festivals.
In recent years, Dinh Hoa district has always paid attention to forest management, protection and development. Every year, the district plants over 1,000 hectares of forest; in 2024 alone, the concentrated forest planting area in the district reached over 1,000 hectares, equal to 100.1% of the plan./.
