The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has recently issued a plan to organize the contest "Uncle Ho and Children - Children and Uncle Ho" to provide opportunities for Vietnamese children both domestically and abroad to learn about the life, career, and legacy of President Ho Chi Minh, especially his deep affection for children.

The contest "Uncle Ho and Children - Children and Uncle Ho" aims to instill in Vietnamese children a sense of pride and love for Uncle Ho, encouraging them to study and follow the Five Teachings of Uncle Ho for young pioneers.
Through this competition, children are encouraged to put Uncle Ho’s teachings into practice through concrete actions, striving to become virtuous and talented individuals who will contribute to building a strong and prosperous Vietnam in the future.
The contest will take place from February 2025 to April 2025. Participants include Vietnamese children aged 6 to 15 who are studying and living both in Vietnam and abroad, as well as foreign children currently residing in Vietnam.
The contest consists of two main components: a drawing competition with the theme "Uncle Ho and Children - Children and Uncle Ho" and a writing competition. Entries must be submitted to the contest’s organizing committee before April 5, 2025.
For group awards, the organizing committee will present two first prizes and four second prizes. For individual awards in each category, there will be one first prize and two second prizes./.
