Participating in the Tree Planting Festival at the premises and along the roads of Khanh Phu Industrial Park (IP), organized by the provincial Industrial Parks Management Board at the beginning of the new year, Mr. Ta, Director of Chang Xin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (100% Taiwanese (China)-invested), expressed great enthusiasm. He shared that since coming to Vietnam four years ago to manage the factory, he has participated in the Tree Planting Festival every year alongside the Industrial Parks Management Board. According to him, this is a meaningful initiative not only for the present but also for future generations.

Beyond taking part in the Tree Planting Festival, Mr. Ta has actively encouraged the company's workers to plant greenery, flowers, and ornamental plants to enhance the factory’s surroundings and create a greener, more pleasant working environment. Additionally, the company has been making efforts to improve technology, moving towards high-tech and environmentally friendly solutions to protect the environment.

Over the years, the movement to plant trees and beautify the working environment has become a well-established practice among FDI enterprises in Ninh Binh. Cibon Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd., another foreign-invested company operating in Khanh Phu IP, has also been actively engaged in tree planting and environmental protection within the company and the industrial park.

Mr. Zhai Yi, a company representative, stated: "Over the years, our leadership and all employees have recognized that environmental protection is essential for sustainable development. Protecting the environment means safeguarding our health and well-being. Therefore, with the highest sense of responsibility, our company will continue to promote awareness and encourage all employees to actively participate in tree planting and care initiatives, contributing to climate change mitigation and making the industrial park greener, cleaner, and more beautiful."

According to a report from the provincial Industrial Parks Management Board, there are currently 121 active investment projects in the province’s industrial parks, including 33 FDI projects. The management board has been directing businesses to actively participate in environmental protection initiatives.

"Especially, we have focused on promoting the significance of Vietnam’s Tree Planting Festival to FDI business owners so they understand and actively participate. This has led to positive actions in protecting the environment in production and business activities. We have also encouraged FDI enterprises to plant and take care of trees around their factories and sidewalks, helping improve the living and working environment for workers," said Tran Duc Cuong, Deputy Head of the Industrial Parks Management Board./.
