Comrade Ha Van Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of Mai Son District Party Committee, said that the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has identified breakthrough contents in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style each year to focus on leadership and direction.

The Party cells and subordinate Party committees, based on the practical situation of the locality, agency and unit, each year identify 1 or more breakthrough contents to focus on leading, directing and organizing implementation. Comrade Lo Van May, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Co Noi commune, said that Party Committee of the commune has chosen a breakthrough in studying and following Uncle Ho as building advanced new rural areas and developing high-tech agriculture. Thje locality focused intensive cultivation of 2,100 hectares of fruit trees of all kinds; of which nearly 307 hectares are granted growing area codes, nearly 50 hectares are granted VietGAP certification and over 756 hectares use water-saving irrigation technology.

Up to now, the commune has achieved 12/19 criteria and is continuing to mobilize resources to complete the criteria for building advanced new rural areas.

In Phieng Cam commune, learning and following Uncle Ho, the commune Party Committee has assigned Party Committee members to attend meetings with grassroots Party cells to grasp the situation and propose appropriate leadership and direction solutions.

Comrade Sung A Chau, Secretary of the commune Party Committee, informed: The commune Party Committee issued a thematic resolution on developing crops and livestock, and sustainable poverty reduction. The locality established the working groups; assigned commune cadres and civil servants to be in charge of villages, building economic models for people to follow. With synchronous solutions, the commune's poverty rate has decreased by an average of 4-5%/year; in 2023 alone, it will decrease by 7%.

Promoting the exemplary role of cadres and party members, the responsibility of leaders, effectively resolving shortcomings and limitations at the grassroots level, and completing the set goals. Up to now, Mai Son district has 9 communes meeting new rural standards, 22 villages and sub-regions meeting new rural standards; there are 20 OCOP products. In addition, the economic development emulation movement continues to be promoted and has achieved many positive results.

The whole district has over 11,200 hectares of fruit trees, with an output of over 90,000 tons/year; of which, over 4,200 hectares are produced in the direction of applying high technology; nearly 1,000 hectares of crops are installed with proactive and economical irrigation systems; There are 3 coffee and custard apple growing areas recognized for high technology application with a total area of 1,373 hectares.

Production efficiency has continuously increased over the years, currently, the average income value per hectare of cultivated land reaches 87.7 million VND.

Party building and the political system have been strengthened, the leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party organization and the vanguard and exemplary role of cadres and Party members have been enhanced.

Promoting the achieved results, the Mai Son District Party Committee continues to make studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style a voluntary and regular task of each Party Committee, government, cadre, Party member and people, creating motivation to successfully carry out the tasks of economic and social development./.
