The Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space and the Statue of President Ho Chi Minh will be constructed at a prominent location within the Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site, serving as a place for visitors from across the country and international friends to explore, learn, and pay tribute through floral and incense offerings.

According to Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nam, Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, the complex represents a profound expression of gratitude toward the beloved leader of the nation. It will also serve as a venue for educating younger generations about patriotism and revolutionary spirit while enriching the cultural and historical values of the Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site.

The project is expected to be completed in time for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). It also aims to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and other major national events./.
