During his lifetime, despite being busy with a thousand things, whenever he had the chance, President Ho Chi Minh still spent time to visit the actual living conditions of people across the country. Particularly, Vinh Phuc province was honored to welcome Uncle Ho to visit eight times.
During the 7th visit, on March 2, 1963, Uncle Ho advised the Provincial Party Committee and people of Vinh Phuc province that "We must make Vinh Phuc one of the richest and most prosperous provinces in the North of our country".
Remembering Uncle Ho’s advice, the Provincial Party Committee and people of Vinh Phuc promoted the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and creativity in socio-economic development to realize the aspiration for a rich and prosperous province.
