The event aims to raise awareness for cadres and soldiers about contents and meanings of the 6 things taught by President Ho Chi Minh and the appeal for patriotic emulation, thereby creating a change in awareness and action; arousing the sense of self-discipline to cultivate and practice, contributing to building the Party, building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People’s Police force.

Commemorative activities include traditional popularization and education activities, special emulation movements, meeting and praising advanced examples; activities of mass mobilization, volunteering, supporting and helping the people; cultural, artistic, sporting, military, and martial arts activities, exhibitions.

The Ministry of Public Security has also issued a plan to organize a special emulation movement to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the People’s Public Security studying and implementating the six teachings of Uncle Ho and President Ho Chi Minh’s appeal for patriotic emulation.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To suggested that the police of  units and localities urgently review the work progress and organize commemorative activities according to the set plan.

He noted that activities must be carefully prepare in terms of content and formality towards grassroots level. It is necessary to uphold the responsibility of the Executive Party Committee, especially the leader./.
