The Da Nang city Youth Union has launched the tree planting festival to respond to the program "One million green trees in Vietnam" at the Children’s Palace of Da Nang.

At the event, the Youth Union gave 30,000 acacia seedlings to support young people’s economic development in Hoa Vang district and 35,000 trees of all kinds to 7 districts and unions.
Right after that, delegates, union members and young people joined in planting more than 100 purple crape myrtle trees on the campus of the Children's Palace.
In 2023, Da Nang received the target of the Central Communist Youth Union to plant 205,000 trees in the city. Accordingly, the City Youth Union and its affiliated units will realize the target through tree planting activities and volunteer movements.
In addition, all levels of unions across the city simultaneously responded to the tree planting festival, encouraged each youth union member to “plant at least 1 green tree”; and planted, cared for and protected trees at offices, schools and areas where they study, work and live./.
