The festival attracted over 300 athletes from seven hamlets, agencies and units in the commune to compete in seven sports, including: Tug of war, football, table tennis, volleyball, chess, crossbow shooting and stick pushing.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 33 prizes to individuals and groups with high achievements.

The communal sports festival is an opportunity for athletes and local people to exchange and learn from each other, promoting the sports movement and improving health following the example of great Uncle Ho.

Currently, all seven hamlets in Quang Son commune have standard cultural houses meeting the cultural and sports needs of the people; the whole commune has 2 soccer fields, 16 volleyball courts and the proportion of sports households accounts for 56% (485 out of 865 households)./.
