Many of the artworks vividly depict President Ho Chi Minh, using unique artistic languages to highlight his simple yet exemplary moral values and his deep affection for all social classes.

Using various materials, artists have uniquely portrayed not only portraits of President Ho Chi Minh but also his image in historical events, as well as monuments, memorial sites, and landmarks associated with him. Each artwork in the exhibition reflects the artists’ exploration of materials, techniques, and intricate brushwork, while also expressing the artistic essence of the leader’s characteristics and spirit.

"Each artwork carries a heartfelt story that the artist wants to convey. Though created at different times and with different materials, they all share a common theme of gratitude and deep respect for our beloved President Ho Chi Minh," said Nguyen Tho, a visitor to the exhibition.

According to the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue, which organized the exhibition, among the nearly 50 displayed artworks, many were created by seasoned artists who have dedicated a significant part of their artistic careers to portraying President Ho Chi Minh.

Le Thuy Chi, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue, stated that since its establishment, the museum has focused on collecting rare and valuable original artifacts related to President Ho Chi Minh. One of its key missions is gathering fine art pieces depicting him, which are unique artifacts created by the skillful hands and deep admiration of both the general public and professional artists.

In the process of building its collection, aside from encouraging donations and conducting artifact acquisitions, the museum has actively launched initiatives to inspire artists and artisans to create works about President Ho Chi Minh. It has also collaborated with the Hue Fine Arts Association and the University of Arts (Hue University) to organize art competitions and creative camps, mobilizing the talent and intellect of visual artists to produce outstanding artistic portrayals of President Ho Chi Minh./.
