During the ceremony, leaders of the Tuy An District People's Committee urged Party committees, local authorities, organizations, armed forces, and schools to intensify public awareness campaigns on the purpose and significance of the tree planting festival. They emphasized the long-term benefits of afforestation, encouraging the tradition of springtime tree planting among all social classes. This initiative contributes to socioeconomic development and enhances the quality of life for local residents.

Immediately after the launch event, a large number of officials, civil servants, and public employees in Tuy An District participated in planting 100 trees within the Go Thi Thung Tunnel National Historic Site.

From 2021 to 2024, Tuy An District successfully planted over 2,137 hectares of concentrated forests and more than 386,000 scattered trees, achieving 100.3% of the plan and increasing the local forest coverage rate to 25%. In 2025, the district aims to plant nearly 500 hectares of concentrated forests and 100,000 scattered trees, while also strengthening forest management, protection, and fire prevention efforts. Additionally, the district will focus on greening inter-village and inter-communal roads to create a clean, green, and beautiful environment./.
