The contest aims to continue to increase the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style as requested by the Politburo directive; and honour outstanding followers.

Candidates, including pupils, students and young people in the country and those studying abroad, as well as educational managers, lecturers and teachers under 35, will cover President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings for young people; lessons about his ideology, morality and style; his will; his thought about Vietnam’s sea and islands; professional moral standards; the achievements in the national protection, construction and development under the Party leadership, especially during the 32 years of the renewal process; and the main guidelines set by the 12th National Party Congress documents.

The sixty most excellent candidates selected from two rounds will join the final round before the awarding ceremony, which is expected to be held in early June in Ho Chi Minh city./.
