As many as 17 communes and wards in the northern province of Quang Ninh’s Mong Cai city joined an online meeting held on January 24th by the city Party Committee to master the Politburo Directive 05 on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in terms of building working styles of the heads, cadres and Party members in 2018.

According to Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao, Deputy Head of the Party and Central Agencies’ Scientific Council, the working style of the heads plays a very important role in realizing the Party viewpoints and guidelines and in carrying out the work. “Apart from scientific style, the leaders must have democratic and collective style by discussing and listening to ideas before work, especially controversial ideas; practising democracy based on true information and the factual situation; and preventing arbitrariness,” he said.
To realize the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in terms of building working styles of the leaders, cadres and Party members in 2018, Prof. Dr. Bao said that it was necessary to further increase cadres’, Party members’ and people’s awareness in following Uncle Ho’s working style; and develop targets, roadmaps, solutions and conditions for the realization, in which the targets of heads of each agency, department and local authority should be identified.
He added that criteria on working style of the heads’ and Party members’ should be built in accordance with each unit’s factual situation, while strict inspection over the realization should be carried out./.
