On February 17, Hue University launched the "Eternal Gratitude to Uncle Ho" Tree Planting Festival and carried out an environmental cleanup campaign in the Hue University Urban Area.

The launching ceremony was attended by Dr. Bui Van Loi, Vice President of Hue University, along with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the University Board of Directors, various organizations, faculty members, and over 1,000 students from Hue University.
Following the ceremony, Hue University leaders, staff, and students planted numerous trees within the campus of the Faculty of Tourism, located in the Hue University planning area at Truong Bia, An Cuu Ward, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City. This annual event aims to raise awareness about environmental protection among staff, faculty, and students while also contributing to a green, clean, and beautiful campus.
After the Tree Planting Festival, participants continued with an environmental cleanup campaign, collecting waste within the Faculty of Tourism campus. Meanwhile, other affiliated and member institutions of Hue University also organized tree planting programs within their own campuses./.
