Advanced young people following Uncle Ho's teachings received Certificates of Merit from the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen The Minh, Secretary of the provincial Youth Union hailed and congratulated the 20 outstanding young people in the youth emulation movement towards the Party and the 32 advanced young people following Uncle Ho’s.

He emphasized: “These are typical examples with outstanding achievements in the fields of studying, teaching, research, labor, production, start-ups, business, culture and arts; clearly demonstrating the model value of Quang Ninh young people in the new era, with culture, knowledge, academic qualifications, life skills, dynamism and creativity”.

The youth emulation movement towards the Party, jointly organized by the the Quang Ninh Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education and the Standing Committee of the provincial Youth Union, was launched for the first time in March 2024. The program targets pupils and students to promote the education of revolutionary ideals and ethics for young people and help union members and young people live with ideals, ambitions, and a high sense of responsibility for the country.

Since its launch, the Quang Ninh Youth Union at all levels has introduced 2,514 outstanding union members for consideration of Party admission; 1,687 members have joined the Party, of which 155 students were admitted right from school.

In particular, Youth Union at all levels in Quang Ninh has implemented three provincial-level youth projects with a total value of 15.7 billion VND; 54 district-level youth projects with a more than 10.7 billion VND; over 800 grassroots-level youth projects and tasks and 250 environmental protection activities, contributing to improving infrastructure, protecting the environment and improving the quality of people’s lives./.
