The studying and following of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style has been widely implemented by An Phu district, the Mekong Delta province of An Giang, achieving remarkable results. Thereby, many new factors and good models have been replicated, contributing to spreading the stuying and following of Uncle Ho’s example.

According to Secretary of the An Phu district Party Committee Quach To Giang, the Standing Board of the Party Committee always pays attention to leading and directing the implementation of Conclusion 01-KL/TW with the focus on promoting the exemplary role of the heads of agencies and units. The district takes the results of learning and following Uncle Ho as one of the criteria for evaluating, reviewing and classifying cadres, civil servants and public employees every year.
Through studying and following Uncle Ho, the contingent of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees changed their awareness of self-cultivation, political ideology, and lifestyle ethics. The sense of responsibility and friendliness of cadres and civil servants towards work and the people is increasingly promoted; the public ethics and lifestyle ethics of cadres and civil servants are improved.
At the same time, the District Party Committee’s Popularization and Education Commission coordinated with information agencies to proactively develop a popularization plan and regularly broadcast on the radio system from the district to communes and towns.
Implementing the breakthrough content in 2024, Party committees and authorities at all levels identified taking care of people’s lives as the key political goal and task, as a measure and criterion for assessing the level of task completion of all levels, sectors and each cadre and party member. Since the beginning of the year, the Party Committee and the government have focused on implementing the movement to care for people’s lives by promoting socialization combined with social security and social welfare policies, campaigns, and patriotic emulation movements.
In addition, many meaningful models have been implemented in previous years and continue to be maintained, such as: the Fund for supporting students to go to school, buying health insurance cards for students, supporting capital for youth to start businesses. Localities continue to promote the emulation movement to build new-style rural areas and civilized urban areas.
Studying the 2024 topic on An Giang learning and following the example of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in caring for people’s lives, the district has built hundreds of houses to help the poor have stable housing. The Standing Board of the district Party Committee has advocated the implementation of the model of “Ho Chi Minh - Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space” at places of worship, in agencies and units of the political system from the district to the grassroots level. So far, 23 “Ho Chi Minh - Ton Duc Thang Cultural Spaces” have been replicated throughout the district./.
