In his speech at the event, Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Thai Binh Party Committee emphasized that the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a major political event. This is a broad political activity within the entire Party, people and army to review the glorious tradition of the Party.

He stressed that the Thai Binh Party Committee is one of the earliest established Party Committees in the country. It launched and led the revolutionary movement vigorously and strongly throughout the province.

In early 1967, Thai Binh welcomed Uncle Ho’s visit for the fifth time. Uncle Ho was very pleased with the progress of the Party Committee and people of Thai Binh. He advised: “I hope that all comrades and people continue to try to make Thai Binh an exemplary province in all aspects.”

Following Uncle Ho’s advice, in the past five years, the growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated at 8.18% a year, higher than the national average.

The scale of the economy ranks 23rd out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide. The disbursement rate of public investment capital for five consecutive years is among the top in the country and the investment and business environment has improved significantly, especially rapid development of foreign direct investment (FDI)./.
