Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Review, and Mr. Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Son La Party Committee, chaired the workshop. The event was attended by leaders of the Central Theoretical Council, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, agencies, departments, scientists; cadres, party members and exemplary soldiers of the armed forces.

At the event, nearly 70 reports presented viewpoints, opinions and exchanges in order to unify perceptions, actions, and some theoretical issues on the exemplary role of cadres and party members associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style. The workshop identified solutions and recommendations for cadres, party members, soldiers of the armed forces, and the masses to better fulfill their role and responsibility of setting an example.

In the northern mountainous province of Son La, Party committees, agencies, cadres, party members, armed forces soldiers, and people of all ethnic groups have concretized and implemented the responsibility of setting an example in accordance with the practical situation, tasks, working conditions, and production labor in all fields. Many good and creative models and practices have spread widely and created positive effects in the community.

Senior Lieutenant Duong Hai Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Son La Province, Head of the Youth Department of Son La Public Security, shared that the youth of Son La Police always promote the role of setting an example, with each officer and soldier being a role model by supporting the people and devoting themselves to their work.

In his speech at the event, Mr. Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Son La Party Committee, affirmed that the role of setting an example is an important factor contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks of the 2021-2025 term. The awareness of cadres and party members of their role as examples and pioneers, especially leaders, has become increasingly disciplined, affirming the leadership role of the Party./.
