Secretary of the Trung Khanh district Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nong Xuan Kien said that the district youth union directed the study of the theme on Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style for its members with many diverse and rich forms. From there, the members saw the meaning and importance of studying and following Uncle Ho, considering this a regular and continuous task and their responsibility, contributing to bringing the studying and following of Uncle Ho into depth, creating spreading effect on the youth in the district.

The Youth Union at all levels in the district regularly study and follow Uncle Ho through stories about his moral example, which are integrated into the content of the activities of the Youth Union branches, associations, and summer activities in the locality.

The district usually organizes programs such as “Spring Volunteers”, “Youth Month”, “Summer Youth Volunteers” and “Green Sunday” campaigns with activities such as renovating rural roads, dredging the flow of the intra-field canal system and general environmental sanitation.

In 2024, the Youth Union mobilized young people to participate in 5,000 working days of new-style rural construction, concretize 300 meters of roads, cleared and cleaned 20 km of rural roads and coordinated to plant 41,172 trees. In addition, 80% of hamlets and residential groups had rural road lighting systems.

Through studying and following Uncle Ho, the district Youth Union has implemented the movement “Each youth has a creative idea” and proactively supported and posted ideas of the Youth Union on the creative idea bank information portal, of which 18 ideas and initiatives of the Youth Union were supported by the district Youth Union.

It continues to introduce and support the implementation of the programs “Youth Start-up”, “Each commune has a product”. In 2024, the Youth Union had Minh Khoi vermicelli product in Cao Chuong commune achieving 3-star OCOP. There were many models of youth doing business with high efficiency, such as: Nguyen Kim Phuong with the Tay's Homestay model; Pham Van Duyet with the model of a farm raising capon and sow and Luc Phuong Nha with the model of making dong vermicelli in Cao Chuong commune.

In the activities of accompanying young people in economic development, there were many examples of young people actively taking the lead in labor production and applying technical advances in cultivation and animal husbandry. Typical examples were the pig farming models in Ngoc Con commune and farms combined with experiential tourism in two communes of Doai Duong and Dam Thuy./.
