District women’s union members introduce typical clean agricultural start-up products in 2024.

Women’s Unions at all levels in the district have focused on following Uncle Ho with specific actions such as organizing conferences on Uncle Ho’s ideology and example and meetings to commend typical collectives and individuals who follow Uncle Ho’s moral example.

Since 2024, the district Women’s Union at all levels has visited and given over 1,500 gifts with a total value of over 500 million VND to cadres and women members in difficult circumstances, orphans and social protection beneficiaries. It built solidarity houses for women: Nguyen Thi Tin, Xuan Hoanh hamlet, Giao Xuan commune; Nguyen Thi Ngọt, hamlet 4, Hong Thuan commune, worth 50 million VND each house.

For the “Godmother” program launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union, in 2024, the district Women’s Union at all levels sponsored 40 orphans, with a support level of 300,000 VND a month a child or more and supported the Hoang Ngan Scholarship Fund with an amount of 78 million VND.

Practicing thrift following Uncle Ho’s example, the district Women’s Union has built savings models, mobilized each cadre and member to participate in at least one type of savings launched by the Women’s Union at all levels.

For the emulation movement of Giao Thuy women join hands to build the new-style rural areas, the Women’s Union at all levels in the district continues to launch the contest of 101 good and creative ways of Nam Dinh women in building the new-style rural areas; promotes popularization and proactively links the criteria for building the new-style rural areas with the emulation targets and tasks of the Union.

Determining economic development, poverty reduction, and increasing income for members as one of the important goals, the Giao Thuy Women’s Union at all levels focuses on vocational training, expanding linkages with vocational training organizations, organizing training courses on business start-up knowledge, transferring science and technology, visiting typical economic models and mobilizing women to start businesses./.
