On February 13, in Hanoi, the People's Army Newspaper held a press meeting to introduce the press contest on the glorious Party and great Uncle Ho launched and directed by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

People’s Armny Newspaper is the organizing agency of the contest. Major General Doan Xuan Bo, Editor-in-Chief of People’s Army Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, chaired the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by Comrade Tong Van Thanh, Director of the Press and Publishing Department, the Party Central Committee’s Commission of Popularization, Education and Mass Mobilization; Comrade Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association; representatives of agencies under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, news agencies, and newspapers of the Central and the Army.
The birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam was a great turning point in the history of the development of the Vietnamese nation. After 95 years of building, fighting and growing, our Party, the vanguard of the working class, the working people and the entire Vietnamese nation, has led the country to overcome countless hardships and challenges, making glorious feats and great achievements, leaving a deep mark in the glorious history of the Vietnamese nation.
The contest aims to affirm the merits and stature of the glorious Party and of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, since the Party's inception, leading the revolution until now and especially focusing on recent terms, more specifically focusing on the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party. The contest also aims to recognize and commend organizations and individuals who creatively implement the Party's guidelines and viewpoints. The press is an important channel to recognize and commend organizations and individuals who do a good job of preparing, organizing and conducting party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Entries can be political commentary, reportage, reflection, press photos, multimedia journalism such as longform, infographic, podcast, video clip. The entries must be creative, have a high influence and practical value. The submission period is from February 5, 2025 to November 30, 2025 (calculated by the time of sending the email or the postmark on the envelope). Eligible entries will be published in publications of the People's Army Newspaper.
Through the entries, the Organizing Committee hopes to arouse the trust and pride of cadres, soldiers and people in the Party and Uncle Ho, while strengthening the strength of national solidarity, creating social consensus in the cause of national development./.
