Military Technical Academy launches Tree Planting Festival in 2025

The activity aims to continue responding to the movement and implementing the program to plant one billion trees "For a green Vietnam" launched by the Prime Minister; to communicate, educate and raise awareness for cadres, employees, lecturers, students and soldiers of the purpose and meaning of tree planting to contribute to climate regulation, ecological environment improvement, and build a "green - clean - beautiful" landscape for the unit.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Major General Tran Van Duy, Deputy Political Commissar of the Academy, emphasized that in recent years, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Academy, Party committees and commanders at all levels, the activities of agencies, units, and mass organizations of the Academy have continued to develop steadily, effectively and practically; organized many exciting and practical activities and emulation movements, focusing on good teaching, good learning, good work and strict discipline, striving to be worthy of the title of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period.

In response to the “Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho” and to effectively implement activities of the “Youth Month” in 2025, Major General Tran Van Duy suggested that agencies, units, trade union organizations, Women's Union, and Youth Union should focus on a number of contents such as: education, thoroughly grasping the directives and plans on organizing the "Tree Planting Festival" movement, communicating, raising awareness for cadres, lecturers, staff, students and soldiers about the role, great significance and humanistic value of planting trees and afforestation to protect the environment; well organizing educational activities about the traditions of the country, the army and the academy./.
