Over the past five years, the Hoan Kiem district Party Committee has proactively implemented the directive in association with the realization of the resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels as well as its six action programs for the tenure of 2012-2020.

The district administration has launched patriotic emulation movements and campaigns which have contributed to fulfilling socio-economic targets and ensuring national security and defense.

Accordingly, there have been many typical examples, good practices and effective models of learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style in all fields, contributing to building a pure, strong, and effective Party and political system as well as to national construction and defence in new situation.

The district Party Committee has honoured 30 collectives and 40 individuals for their contributions to realizing Directive No.05-CT/TW.

 Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong praised Hoan Kiem district for effectively implementing the Directive No.05-CT/TW.

Hoan Kiem district has gained the achievements in building the Party organization and political system, making great contribution to accomplishing socio-economic task and ensuring national security and defense in the area.

He also urged the district to arouse the people’s will and aspirations for local development, deserving as a central district of the capital city.
