A plan on organizing activities to celebrate the 131st birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19) has issued by the the Standing Board of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Accordingly, diverse activities such as offerings at the Ho Chi Minh Square in Vinh City and the Kim Lien special national historical relic in Nam Dan District; and conference to review the 5-year implementation of the Politburo’s directive on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style will be held.
President Ho Chi Minh's life and glorious revolutionary activities, his great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Vietnamese Party and people, and to the communist and international workers movements will be disseminated.
The plan will help to express the deep respect and gratitude of the Vietnamese people and the love and respect of the people of all over the world towards President Ho Chi Minh.
The activities will also aim to affirm the eternal vitality of President Ho Chi Minh's thought; analyze and clarify the application and creative development of Ho Chi Minh's thought in the cause of renewal, industrialization and modernization of the country and international integration; and fight and disprove information, claims, wrong and distorted views on President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh./.
