Long An province's Department of Information and Communications recently organized a meeting to honour and award outstanding individuals and collectives in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style in the 2016-2020 period.

In recent years, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Department of Information and Communications and mass organizations have effectively implemented the national target programs for sustainable poverty reduction; building information technology infrastructure towards the e-government of Long An province; project on purchasing equipment for commune-level radio stations; and project on image communications of Long An province in the period of 2019 - 2020, and orientation to 2025.
In addition, many models of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style were also implemented, such as: "Building paperless offices"; the model of "improving the efficiency of the education and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's legal policies in the agency".
The department has also maintained telling stories about Uncle Ho in the first week of each month, with content directly linking to the political tasks of the Party cells and Party members; at the same time, discussing and exchanging solutions to overcome shortcomings, limitations and set the orientation to strive.
On this occasion, there were a collective and seven individuals presented certificates of merit of the Department of Information and Communications in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style in the period of 2016-2020./.
