On February 14, the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to research and master the 2023 work on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, connecting online to 126 locations, attracting more than 13,000 key officials at all levels.

This year, Soc Trang chose the theme that Soc Trang promotes self-reliance, boosts economic development, and takes care of the material and spiritual life of the people according to Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee Ho Thi Cam Dao said that in 2022, the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee conducted a thematic studying and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style on "Promoting the tradition of the national ethnic solidarity; arousing the will of self-reliance, aspiration for prosperity and happiness of people in Soc Trang province.
The whole province has emulated to achieve and exceed 22 of 23 targets set in the Resolution of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee; with the economic growth of 7.71%, the highest since 2011. The province successfully organized important local political events; and social security policies were paid attention to and fully and timely implemented.
Leaders of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee requested all levels, Party organizations, localities, agencies and units to seriously grasp, apply and concretize tasks and solutions for economic development, taking care of people's material and spiritual lives. The implementation of the work on studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in 2023 must be associated with the implementation of economic, cultural and social development goals, targets and tasks, focusing on taking care of the material and spiritual life of the people.
The province focuses on well implementing the motto: “Socio-economic development is the center; Party building is key; Cultural development is the spiritual foundation; Ensuring national defense and security is vital and regular" in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress.
During the conference, the reporters introduced the core contents of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; the Party's viewpoints and some basic contents on tasks and solutions to promote economic development, and take care of the people's material and spiritual life in order to successfully carry out the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress and the Resolution of the 14th Soc Trang Provincial Party Congress./.
