Hai Duong recreates event of Uncle Ho visiting Con Son

On February 15, 1965, Uncle Ho returned to Hai Duong. He visited the Con Son pagoda relic site, offered incense at the pagoda. Climbing to Con Son Mountain, he visited the Thanh Hu cave and Thach Ban, where Nguyen Trai often sat to read books, write poems and contemplate national affairs.

Talking with local officials, people and monks in the pagoda. He advised cadres and people must protect historical relics well, plant many trees so that Con Son becomes a beautiful pine forest.

The 30-minute scene of “Hai Duong imprints Uncle Ho’s footprints" recreates the story of Uncle Ho’s return to Hai Duong with the participation of more than 60 actors from the Cheo Theater and the Hai Duong provincial Cultural and Artistic Center. The image of Uncle Ho is performed by People’s Artist Manh Thang, Hai Duong Cheo Theater. The scene was written by Dr. and playwright Tran Dinh Ngon, directed by Meritorious Artist Doan Vinh.

This is a meaningful content to express gratitude for Uncle Ho’s feelings for the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his visit to Con Son./.
