Environmental Police Department launches Tree Planting Festival in Quang Ninh

At the event held on February 15, the organizing board planned to plant more than 1,200 Bodhi trees at the Vietnamese Buddhist Holy Land, with the desire to express gratitude to the great merits of King Tran Nhan Tong and his predecessors.

Through this meaningful activity, the organizers wanted to call for and spread the value of green environmental protection actions, which is to protect the health and life of all people. This is also an action of learning and promoting the teachings of Uncle Ho.

Sharing at the launching ceremony, Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice President of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Quang Ninh province, talked about the historical, cultural and spiritual values of the special national historical relic site of Ngoa Van Pagoda and shared about the meaning of the activity "Tree Planting Festival to Forever Remember Uncle Ho" as well as spread the ideology of Vietnamese Buddhism in uniting the nation to protect, promote and preserve the living environment for all Vietnamese people.

Right after the launching ceremony, delegates, cadres, soldiers and youth union members directly participated in planting more than 500 trees at the Special National Historical Site of Ngoa Van Pagoda./.
