On this occasion, the VRG’s Youth Union was honored to be awarded the Third-class Labor Medal by the State President for outstanding achievements in the 2016 – 2020 period, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

According to Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan, Chairman of the VRG’s Board of Directors, the group currently has more than 80,000 employees, of which youth union members account for more than 30%.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee also praised and awarded certificates of merit to 90 advanced youth following Uncle Ho's sayings. The VRG awarded the Rubber Gold Star Award to 33 outstanding individuals and 36 typical youth of the rubber industry.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Nguyen Pham Duy Trang said that the typical individuals honored at this festival really have the noble qualities of advanced youth. They are exemplary young people with beautiful, efficient and helpful deeds.

She hoped and believed that the honored youth would continue to promote their achievements and strive more in labor, production, and activities of the Youth Union, contributing to the successful implementation of the group's political tasks, and contributing their youthful strength to realizing the aspiration of building a strong and prosperous Vietnam./.
