Currently, Thanh Thuy Commune has become a locality with stable economic development, with its rural transport infrastructure having been invested and upgraded, helping people to travel conveniently and trade goods smoothly. The appearance of the countryside has been changed a lot, science and technology has been applied to cultivation and husbandry, helping to form a product chain that is typical for the region. People's material life is markedly improved, thanks to remarkable improvement in the quality of education, healthcare and culture.

The movement to join hands to build a new rural area has aroused and promoted the great solidarity of the whole people, so far the commune has completed 13 of 19 criteria.

Afforestation is always promoted and has developed to 43.3 hectares, helping to green the barren hills and protect the atmosphere, hold the soil, and bring high economic efficiency. Its upgrade of gardens and hills has been accelerated, helping plant high value fruits. The commune has also developed a large herd of animals, with over 3,660 animals and 10,368 poultry.

Currently, the total number of livestock and poultry in the commune is constantly increasing with over 3,660 cattle and 10,368 poultry. Tea area has been developed to 187 hectares, with productivity of 50 quintals per hectare. Cardamom area of 148.6 ha, gaining 43 quintals per hectare. Meanwhile, the program to build houses for revolutionary contributors, poor veterans, and poor households with difficulties has built 9 houses.
