During his working visit in France, General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, and a delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security, came to lay a wreath at the monument of President Ho Chi Minh in the Memorial Ho Chi Minh Park in the city of Montreuil, a suburb of Paris, France.

President Ho Chi Minh's memorial area which was inaugurated on May 19, 2005, on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of his birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2005), is the symbol for the solidarity and friendship between the Vietnamese and the French people, especially the city of Montreuil.
Visiting "Ho Chi Minh Space" at the Memorial Area, General To Lam met and discussed with a number of international friends, representatives of the authority and some people of the city about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. They all paid their respects to the personality and career of President Ho Chi Minh - a great communist soldier, a preeminent national hero, an example not only for the Vietnamese people but also for the working class and workers around the world in the struggle for national liberation.
On this occasion, Minister To Lam and the high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam had a meeting with a number of French partners to further promote cooperation in the fields of police and security, as well as some other specific areas to effectively combat terrorism, transnational crime, cybercrime, human trafficking, illegal migration and non-traditional security challenges in the coming time.
The French side highly appreciated the visit and work of the delegation with specialized forces of France, agreeing to promote and bring the bilateral cooperation to a new height./.
