Over the past 5 years, the District Youth Union has strengthened political and ideological education for union officials, union members and youth, contributing to raising awareness of union members in implementing Directive 05-CT/TW. Local youth facilities have built many good ways, suitable to their locality, such as: supporting young people to start a business, regularly organizing cleaning activities, and inaugurating the projects "Green space - children's playground from recycled materials".

In addition, the District Youth Union held contests about studying and following Uncle Ho’s example for young people "The youth of District 4 follow Uncle Ho's example".

On this occasion, one collective and one individual were presented certificates of merit by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union; one collective and two individuals were given certificates of merit by the District 4 People’s Committee; and 12 collectives and 5 individuals were given certificates of merit by the District 4 Youth Union for achieving good results in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style for the 2016-2021 period. 

On the same day, the District Youth Union also held a seminar on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style on self-reliance and aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country.

At the seminar, Mr. Ha Trung Thanh, a lecturer from the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy, conveyed the basic contents in raising awareness for union members and youth on the content, values and great significance of Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style./.
