On the occasion of new spring and Lunar New Year Festival (Tet), agencies and residential communities in Ca Mau province usually set up an altar for Uncle Ho. This has become a good traditional habit for people in the province.
On the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, agencies, sectors, schools and households in the province, all set up and decorate an altar for Uncle Ho in a solemn corner in their units or houses.
Whether it is decorated elaborately or simply, setting up an altar for Uncle Ho has long been a beautiful tradition, showing the people's sincere respect and gratitude to beloved Uncle Ho - the Father of the nation, and the ancestors who contributed and sacrificed to the construction and development of the country.
For the people in Ca Mau province in particular and the whole country in general, Tet is not only an occasion for family reunion, but also an occasion to remind the following generation of the cultural tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", to be proud of the revolutionary achievements under the leadership of the Party and beloved Uncle Ho.

The portraits of Uncle Ho, General Vo Nguyen Giap, General Secretary Le Duan and General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong are worshipped every day by veteran Vo Ha Do in Ward 9, Ca Mau city,
like his family member.

Doctors and nurses from the Department of Pediatric Surgery under the Ca Mau Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, spend time decorating Uncle Ho’s Altar. This meaningful activity has been maintained by the hospital for many years on the occasion of Tet holiday.

The Uncle Ho’s Altar is taken care of by the staff and reporters of Ca Mau Newspaper with all their hearts.

The Uncle Ho’s Altar is decorated elaborately and colorfully at Hoang Oanh Kindergarten in Ward 5, Ca Mau city.

In addition to decorating Uncle Ho's Altar, teachers at Hanh Phuc Kindergarten in Ward 9, Ca Mau city, also made paper models of famous landscapes in the capital Hanoi.
