On February 11, Mr. Le Truong Luu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hue Party Committee, Chairman of the municipal People’s Council and Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee attended the tree planting festival, hosted by the Hue Military Command.

Following President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching of “Spring is the season for tree planting, making the country more and more springy”, on the occasion of the beginning of 2025, the Hue Military Command directed agencies and units in the municipal Armed Forces to launch the tree planting festival to forever remember Uncle Ho. It asked each officer and soldier to plant 5 to 10 trees and 1 to 2 fruit trees.
In the coming time, the Hue Military Command will direct agencies and units to continue planting trees in areas such as barracks, training grounds, rear areas and production camps.
It strives to plant more than 6,000 shade trees, fruit trees, ornamental trees and timber trees, contributing to greening bare hills, creating a regular, bright, green, clean and beautiful barracks environment, serving well the study and work of soldiers./.
