The Hanoi Youth Union organized a ceremony on February 12 to launch "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" and Youth Month in 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh emphasized that this year's Tree Planting Festival takes place in the context of the city's political system focusing many resources to build Hanoi into a green, civilized, cultured and modern city.
The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Youth Union calls on youth union members and young people, through their specific actions, to participate in planting, caring for and protecting green trees, actively protecting the ecological environment, contributing to the construction and development of the capital.
Launching the Youth Month, the Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union called on youth union branches and youth union members and young people to strive to complete meaningful and practical projects and tasks to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
The Youth Month in 2025 of the youth in the capital city will last until March 31.
The Hanoi Youth Union has identified 10 key target groups and established five volunteer teams, including: "Green Hanoi", "Cultured Hanoi", "Civilized Hanoi", "Young Hanoi", "Sentimental Hanoi"; planted at least 150,000 trees; developed at least 5,000 new youth union members; at least 300 outstanding youth union members are admitted to the Party; at least 7,500 disadvantaged children are supported by the Youth Union at all levels.
Right after the launching ceremony, the Hanoi Youth Union carry out many practical response activities: Planting 50 trees in urban areas; donating children's playground equipment; inaugurating the self-managed youth road, mural works; decorating electrical cabinets, and cleaning up the environment with the participation of more than 300 youth union members and young people.
Along with that, the Hanoi Youth Union organized career counseling for students of Phuc Loi High School, presented the "Safe Traffic School Gate" project to Phuc Loi Primary School and 56 schools in Long Bien district; inaugurated the project to encode the Thuong Dong communal house - pagoda relics; visited and presented gifts to three policy families in Phuc Loi ward, Long Bien district.
The total value of the support is more than 600 million VND./.
