An art performance entitled “Songs dedicated to Uncle Ho” with no live audience at Hanoi Opera House on October 7 was broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television’s Channel 1.

The event was held by the Culture Newspaper to celebrate the 67th anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-2021).
It was arranged in two parts, themed '"Uncle Ho – Our Belief in Victory", which entertained the audience with beautiful melodies praising beloved President Ho Chi Minh, and ‘Thang 10 Mua Thu Lich Su’ (The Historic Autumn in October), which featured songs and dances on the joy of Hanoians on the liberation day 67 years ago.
The performances were delivered by popular singers namely People’s Artist Quoc Hung, Anh Tho, Trong Tan, Tan Nhan, and May band, and artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
According to Chu Thi Thuy Hang, Editor-in-Chief of Culture Newspaper under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event’s organising board, the concert aimed to raise the spirits of the people and Hanoians in particular amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The concert gives us the belief that a bright future lies ahead although we are facing many difficulties with complicated and unpredictable development of the pandemic," said Ms. Hang./.
