Awarding certificates of merit to typical collectives following Uncle Ho’s teachings in the 2016-2021 period

The Hanoi Women’s Union has organized an online conference to praise typical models and examples following Uncle Ho’s teachings and typical family of the capital in the 2016-2021 period.

Over the past 5 years, the Hanoi Women’s Union at all levels mobilized and directed its members to try to study and follow the moral example of President Ho Chi Minh by various forms, creating change in awareness and actions of officials and members. 

From the model of following Uncle Ho, the Women’s Union at all levels have saved over 50 billion VND; 101,695 kg of rice; 4,033 savings books; build and repair 619 loving homes; provided millions of servings, warm blankets, bicycles for children to go to school; helping nearly 40,000 women and children in difficult circumstances.

Since 2018, the Union has launched the campaign: “The capital’s women behave beautifully” to contribute to the implementation of the city’s two Codes of Conduct and building an elegant - civilized lifestyle of Hanoians.

In her speech at the event, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Women’s Union Le Kim Anh said that following the direction of the Union Central Committee and the Hanoi Party Committee, the emulation movement and the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo has been closely combined with the implementation of the city’s political tasks of ensuring urban civilized order and building new-style rural areas, elegant - civilized lifestyle of Hanoians, and educating Vietnamese women’s moral qualities in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization./.
