Speaking at the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Hong Thach highly appreciated the cooperation between the school and the embassy in honoring President Ho Chi Minh, teaching Vietnamese and promoting the cultures of the two countries, making an important contribution to maintaining and developing the comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Ukraine.
The ambassador was delighted with the active and highly creative participation of the school's pupils in the composition contest about President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam, with 24 works in various forms of painting, sculpture, poetry, arts and crafts, adding that this was expression of understanding and affection for Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.
After signing the cooperation agreement for the new period, Ambassador Nguyen Hong Thach and Ms. Larisa Panteleivna, the rector of the school, decided to open the Vietnamese language club at the school in September.
The two sides expressed the hope that, with the new cooperation agreement and the opening of the Vietnamese language club, the cooperation between the embassy and the school in the coming time will be regular, continuous and directly serve the maintenance of the traditional friendship, cultural and educational cooperation between the two countries./.
