Taking to heart Uncle Ho's teaching about traffic is the bloodline of the fatherland, good traffic makes everything easy, over the past year, the youth of the University of Transport and Commmunications have made continuous efforts to study, practice, research, improve knowledge and skills and achieved many proud achievements. Among them, 01 student won the title of "5 Good Students" at the Central level, 01 student won the title of "January Star"; 52 individuals and 05 groups achieved the title of "5 Good Students" at the City level, 256 individuals achieved the title at the school level, 100 excellent members were admitted to the Party.

Products, topics, scientific research works of students participated and won high prizes in national and international competitions; typical examples include: 06 awards for student scientific research at the Ministry level (01 First prize); 01 Second prize, 01 Third prize and 03 Encouragement prizes organized by the Ministry of Education and Training. Olympic teams won 06 First prizes, 07 Second prizes, 48 Third prizes and 39 Encouragement prizes for individuals; 02 Second prizes, 01 Third prize for teams.

In addition, the youth of the University of Transport has effectively organized youth volunteer programs and campaigns such as "Spring Volunteer" program, "Winter Volunteer" campaign, "Supporting Exam Season", "Green Summer", giving 100 gifts to poor households, 100 gifts to students, 20 scholarships, 500 warm winter coats and many valuable gifts such as 02 sets of speakers, 01 water filtration system, toys, carpets, cooking meals for children in the northern mountainous provinces, with a total value of 300 million VND. The Youth Blood Donation Club successfully organized two "Khoanh Khac" voluntary blood donation programs, collecting 1,600 units of blood. Coordinated with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Transport Newspaper to successfully organize the program "For Traffic Accident Victims".
