Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has agreed with the guideline to assign the Nghe An provincial People’s Committee to chair and make the national special relic planning on the commemorative campus to President Ho Chi Minh in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district.
The Deputy Prime Minister has assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to work with relevant agencies to assess the planning and submit it to the Prime Minister for adoption.
The Kim Lien historical and cultural relic campus, a national special relic, preserves documents and exhibits on the homeland and family in the childhood of President Ho Chi Minh, as well as those marking 2 times President Ho Chi Minh visited his homeland. Having been developed since 1956, it has become a popular destination and a focal point for the affection of the Vietnamese people and international friends for Uncle Ho. Besides the two main relics (Hoang Tru and Sen villages – the homelands of Uncle Ho’s mother and father), the campus includes the exhibition houses, commemorative areas, the grave of Uncle Ho’s mother – Ms Hoang Thi Loan, and surrounding relics./.
