The Party Central Committee Commission on Popularization and Education, in collaboration with the Ba Ria – Vung Tau provincial Party Committee, on April 18 th held an exchange gathering outstanding followers of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style who come from southern localities.

They were Tran Huu Hau, Secretary of the Tay Ninh city Party Committee and Chairman of the city People’s Committee in Tay Ninh province who leads in applying information and technology in raising the efficiency of administrative reform; Tran Tan Phu, head of Thien Tue village, Lai Son commune in Kien Giang province’s Kien Hai district, who helps a lot of disadvantaged people and creates a consensus among the people in obeying the Party and State guidelines and policies; and monk Thich Nu Le Vien who encourages Buddhist followers to follow Party and State policies and laws, dozens of households to donate land for building roads, and sponsors to donate capital for building 9 bridges, 60 wells and 10 charitable houses, distributing over 6,000 presents and over 100 scholarships.
They were also young citizen Nguyen Duong Kim Hai in Tien Giang province who invented valuable devices and software; and Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Trong Hiep, a border guard in Ba Ria – Vung Tau who is always brave in fighting criminals, especially drug criminals, successfully joining 128 cases and arresting 219 criminals.
Addressing the exchange, Mai Van Ninh, Standing Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Commission on Popularization and Education, the outstanding followers were persuasive evidence for the efficiency of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style./.
