According to the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Information and Communications, there are a lot of documents and materials of and about President Ho Chi Minh, especially those on the Internet; however, they are widely scattered, and sometimes originate from unofficial sources. Therefore, the e-library aims to provide an official address for documents and materials of and about President Ho Chi Minh, in order to create an environment for scientific studies for every resident.

The e-library collects and manages books published by 3 prestigious publishing houses with contents suitable for studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style. It also introduces good followers of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in the 2011-2015 period that are written in books. The books, as well as information, images and precious documents about Uncle Ho, are updated continuously, while feedback with readers will also be increased.

For the first time, the city residents have easier access to an unlimited source of documents of and about President Ho Chi Minh, as the e-library allows readers to download the documents free-of-charge.

With the e-library, Ho Chi Minh city continues to be a leading locality in realizing the Politburo Directive 05-CT/TW on increasing the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style by disseminating and introducing publications relating to Uncle Ho./.
