A delegation of people with meritorious services to the revolution in Bac Lieu province on October 24 respectfully offered flowers and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.

The delegation's wreath bears the words: "Eternal gratitude to the great President Ho Chi Minh."
The delegation included 41 delegates who are wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, people exposed to toxic chemicals, people imprisoned by the enemy and relatives of martyrs; led by Mr. Nguyen Thuy Nhu, Permanent Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Bac Lieu province.
Bac Lieu province currently has more than 71,000 people with meritorious services to the revolution, and their relatives. Over the past many years, the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Lieu province have actively implemented many guidelines and policies, especially the Ordinance on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolution. At the same time, it promotes the "repaying gratitude" movement, mobilizing resources from all levels, sectors, businesses and the entire society to take care of the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiary families, and those with meritorious service to the revolution in province. Currently, the number of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the province who are still alive is 52 and they are being cared for the rest of their lives.
At the Guest House No. 8 on Hung Vuong Street, Colonel Tran Huu Nam, Chief of Office of the Management Board of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, warmly welcomed the delegation. At the reception, he introduced to the delegation the process of preserving President Ho Chi Minh's body, the outstanding results in implementing the unit's special political tasks. At the same time, he awarded Uncle Ho's badge and souvenirs to delegates in the delegation./.
