Ho Chi Minh Park is one of the works of historical and cultural significance, along with other historical works and cultural heritages of the capital La Habana, creating a unique architectural complex, like flowers adorning the charm of the civilized, hospitable, and beautiful capital La Habana.

The working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and the delegation is even more meaningful when it takes place at the right time when the two countries organize many activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Cuban Committee for Solidarity with South Vietnam, the predecessor of today's Cuba - Vietnam Friendship Association and the 50th anniversary of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro's first visit to Vietnam and the liberated zone in Southern Vietnam (September 1973 – September, 2023).

Mr. Ha emphasized that the two peoples of Vietnam and Cuba have many similarities in history, sharing noble revolutionary ideals and a tradition of heroic struggle for independence, freedom and liberation of the nation.

Cuba is proud of leader Fidel Castro. Vietnam is proud of President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people, leader, national liberation hero, and world cultural celebrity admired by the Cuban people and the world.

"This is a meaningful place in the capital La Habana so that anyone who comes here can express their remembrance and deep respect for the Vietnamese leader, world cultural celebrity, who laid the foundation for the connection between the two peoples of Vietnam - Cuba; at the same time, it aims to educate the young generation of the two countries to continue preserving and cultivating the relationship of brotherhood and comradeship, special solidarity, and loyalty between the two peoples," Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha shared.

On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister also sent his thanks and good sentiments that the Party, State and people of Cuba have always given to Vietnam in the resistance war for the national liberation and the national construction today.

He wished the heroic, resilient, intelligent, and peace-loving Cuban people would overcome all difficulties and complete the revolutionary cause to make Cuba prosperous and happy./.
