The memorial room of President Ho Chi Minh was inaugurated and put into operation after more than 2 months of construction on an area of 120m2 at a solemn location within the campus of the provincial Border Guard Command.

The meaningful project aims to remember Uncle Ho’s great gratitude; at the same time, popularizing and educating officers and soldiers of the provincial Border Guard, especially the young generation, about the revolutionary tradition and the Vietnamese people’s proverb of “drinking water, remember its source”, improving the effectiveness of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

Colonel Pham Tung Lam, Political Commissar of the Thua Thien-Hue Border Guard, emphasized that the memorial room is the earnest wish of officers and soldiers of the Border Guard force of the province, affirming the steadfast heart, loyalty of cadres and soldiers to the Party and beloved Uncle Ho.

The project also has the meaning of reminding each of our cadres and party members to always self-reflect, self-correct, and admonish ourselves; always cultivate, train and strive constantly to be worthy of the people’s trust and the responsibility assigned by the Party and the people./.
